I am sitting at my desk writing this on the morning of our Leadership Tallahassee Class 32 Graduation. I keep hearing that this will be the last time that our entire class is together in the same room. I hope that is not the case, but human nature and the busy lives we all lead would suggest that this will indeed be our final time all together.
As I look back on the last year and think about how it changed my approach and opinions to so many different topics and people, I’m thankful for the time we spent together and to the LT leadership and directors for guiding us. This year has given me the opportunity to really grow some existing relationships and to create many new relationships that would likely have never existed without Leadership Tallahassee.
My two biggest takeaways from LT is just how much Tallahassee truly has to offer and the amount of knowledge and exposure you get to the many different people, public and private agencies, leaders, and populations that keep our city running and flourishing.
Thank you to my class members and to Leadership Tallahassee for a great experience.
The LT 32 class voted to participate in the Tallahassee Mural Painting Initiative by collaborating on a Downtown mural in the Fall as their class project. This is spearheaded by Project Chair Jay Revell. The mural will be a gift from Class 32 to the Tallahassee community.
