As Executive Director of Leadership Tallahassee, I have had the distinct privilege to play a role in guiding more than 800 of you through LT classes 17 through 37. Those classes plus the previous 16 classes and affiliate members, make LT 1,800 community leaders strong! I want to share, as a result of the bonds created and strengthened during your LT experience, we will get through this time together and as a result, be the stronger for it.
If ever there was a time for effective leadership, now is that time. Leadership Tallahassee members have been prepared for “such a time as this” and are in a unique position to instill trust, show compassion foster stability and inspire hope.
We are in a pivotal moment where rapid changes have been occurring, communities are adjusting, and business is being conducted in new ways. LT members are not only in the trenches but are on the front lines planning, creating and implementing change all while their personal, work and family lives have been altered.
LT members are creating new initiatives, like Feed Tallahassee’s Kids, Rags to Bags, Hungry to Help, Rally for Tally, Be Safe and Nourish Your Soul and #Sausage Stimulus. You are continuing to use your relationships to meet the needs of our community.
More leaders are needed to embrace these changes and shape the future of our communities for the greater good! Won’t you join us in this endeavor by keeping those connections and relationships strong and forging new bonds?

- LT continues to provide the premier community leadership program we are nationally recognized for and need your help with recruiting the next “best class ever”, LT 38. The deadline has been extended to April 20 with application packets submitted electronically to Barbara, bboone@talchamber.com.
