2009 DLA Award Winners

Leadership Tallahassee unveiled the winners of three leadership awards and recognized the life's work for two others at the 15th annual Distinguished Leadership Awards on September 17. The award recipients announced at the event were: Jaimi Wacksman (LT 25), 2009 Leadership Pacesetter Award; Jake Myddelton and John Parker, 2009 Leader of the Year; and Jeff Wahlen (LT 12), 2009 Servant Leadership Award. The 2009 Lifetime Leadership Award was presented to theHonorable Talbot "Sandy" D'Alemberte. Recognition was given to Karen B. Moore (LT5), who received the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce 2009 Godfrey Smith Past Chairmen's Award.Thanks to event chair Leila McClure (LT 24) and her committee: Vanessa Anderson, Tocoi Arthur, Charlie Belvin, Sharon Berrian, Amanda Clements, Christie Daly, Stephanie Derzypolski, John Fleming, Pam Forrester, Ben Graybar, Betsy Henderson, Coman Leonard, Jill May, Stephanie McConnell, Heather Mitchell, Kimberly Moore, Tracy Morales, Tim Naddy, Nan O'Kelley, Jane Olson, Torrio Osborne, Tiffany Parker, Michelle Personette, Marcia Porter, Kim Smiley, Gloria Spradley Brown, Mandy Stark, and Tawana Thompson.
