Distinguished Leadership Awards

The Blue Foundation presents the Leadership Tallahassee 16th Annual Distinguished Leadership Awards, Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the University Center Club Ballroom. 

Social Hour and Silent Auction, 6:00 p.m., Dinner, 7:15 p.m.  Lifetime Leadership award recipient John M. Hogan, President and CEO of Capital Health Plan will be honored along with recipients of the Leadership Pacesetter, Leader of the Year and Servant Leadership Awards.  In addition, John Perry Thomas of Thomas Howell Ferguson will be recognized as the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce Godfrey Smith Past Chairmen's Award.

All benefits go to the Youth Leadership Tallahassee program.  Sponsored /reserved tables of 8 are $1,000, individual reservations are $100. Contact bboone@talchamber.com for more information.

Distinguished Leadership Awards Mayoral Proclamation Presentation

Wednesday, August 16, 2010, 4:00 p.m. Finalists for the 16th Annual Leadership Tallahassee Distinguished Leadership Awards, presented by the Blue Foundation, will receive a proclamation from the City of Tallahassee Mayor, John Marks.  A reception for finalists will be held in the Tallahassee Room at City Hall after the ceremony.

Opening Retreat for Leadership Tallahassee Class 28 Only

Friday, August 6 and Saturday August 7 LT Class 28 Opening Retreat

The Class will meet @ 8:00 a.m. at the parking lot of Fresh Market, SteinMart and board a charter bus which departs at 8:30 a.m. for Jacksonville.  Leave your car, if you like, at your own risk.  The Class returns on Saturday to the parking lot, between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m.

Dress:  Casual; Bring: materials from Orientation and completed assignments;  Wear: Nametags

College Leadership Tallahassee Class 2 Applications due

College Leadership Tallahassee is an exciting opportunity for college students from our community or from somewhere else and attending one of our local colleges or universities to learn about leadership and the Tallahassee area. Applicants should be undergraduate or graduate students between 18 and 28 years old, and have completed at least 24 semester hours. This is a new program of Leadership Tallahassee, designed to stop the brain drain in our community. Don't let time slip by - the program will take place in July, but applications are due by March 31st!
